Since childhood, Teliah Octavia has expressed herself through writing, evolving from poetry to intricate short stories. Her work includes Honestly Speaking: It Takes…Honesty, Honestly Speaking: It Takes…Charisma, and The December Project, all published under her full name, Teliah Wood Walker. Her latest release, A Quarantined Christmas: How the Magic of Christmas Cured the World, is a heartwarming tale for children, reminding them of the goodness still present in the world.

Teliah’s writing journey began as a young girl grappling with fears and uncertainties, finding solace in poetry. As she grew, her poetry expanded into a creative outlet for her dreams and desires, eventually blossoming into short stories. Over time, she compiled these works into a collection titled The Butterfly Chronicles, which she plans to blog, starting with “She Became a Butterfly.”

In reflecting on her own life, Teliah recognized a theme in her work and feelings: despite being surrounded by love, she struggled to feel truly happy. A conversation with her daughter led her to understand this feeling as being “Happily Unhappy” and realizing the importance of finding joy within herself.

During the COVID-19 quarantine, Teliah channeled her creativity into the Honestly Speaking series, a platform celebrating strong, successful women who grapple with vulnerability and love. Today, she is in a place where she shares her life, love, and laughter with the world, weaving her unique journey into words.
